Customers may apply to GCQ Quality certification services via the personnel visit, referrals, GCQ website, via email or by phone. GCQ will provide a quote and arrange the details of the audit and proceed further after customer confirmation/ payment formalities are completed.
The first stage of the audit involves a detailed review of the documentation, including all SOPs, record-keeping, training records, internal / self- audit and management review documents (Not applicable for Re-certification clients)
The Stage 2 assessment, is the main evaluation of an organization’s management system. Its purpose is to determine whether the system has been effectively implemented and is operating in accordance with the requirements of the relevant standard (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001,ISO22000 etc..).During this audit, the certification body’s auditors verify that the management system is fully established and functioning, evaluate the effectiveness of processes in meeting policy, objectives, statutory and regulatory requirements, review evidence of implementation including records, activities, and compliance with customer and standard requirements, and confirm that the system supports continual improvement. Successful completion of the Stage 2 assessment leads to a recommendation for certification.
Once the audits are complete, GCQ’s Certification Committee will review the results, and determine the results. If the client passes the audit, they will receive certification. The certificate validity for three-year cycle will be effective from the certification committee decision date.
Management Systems certification is valid for three years subject to the successful maintenance of compliance. Ongoing compliance is assessed by surveillance activities, including a full onsite audit visit within 12 months from the certificate decision date.
